Too Big...

Trent has been exploring all the baby toys that are now out for Malorie. I even caught him in her crib the other day after naptime. He never even attempted climbing in or out of the crib when he was using it. Well, he decided to "try out" the bouncer the other day. He thought he was so funny, until he realized he couldn't get out by himself. Then it was funny for mommy!!

Halloween 2010

We had a great time at our church's annual fall festival. Trent was a Dallas Cowboys football player (Jeff was hoping to have a little more pride in his son dressing as a Cowboy for Halloween, but the way the boys are playing right now, it's kinda hard to be excited about anything they are doing these days). Malorie was a sweet, little ladybug. They both just melt my heart every day!!

Summer Fun

At the Dallas Zoo, riding the carousel. He was ready to ride the zebra, but then my little cautious boy decided sitting on the bench with mom was a better idea!

Ayden and Trent at McDonalds....should it really be that hard to get a picture of a 4 year old and a 2 year old?!?

Almost every time I lay Malorie on her mat, Trent comes to lay down beside her. So cute!

Malorie sitting in her Bubmo...at three months she already fills it out!!

Trent loves to play with Ayden's guitar every time we go to Albany. He is our little "rock and roll cowboy!" (Yes, he did coin that phrase!!)

The Things They Say...

I always said I should write down all the funny things that I overheard children saying while I was teaching...you could publish a book and probably make tons of money! So, I figured I would share some of the funny things Trent has said over the last few weeks...the cutie pie makes me laugh every day!!

*After learning about the different colors on the traffic lights...

Trent: "The green says go and the red says stop."
Me: "That's right buddy. You are so smart."
Trent: "Yep. I'm the smartest boy ever!"

*After some discussion of the difference between boys and girls, since he has been calling Malorie a "he" lately...

Me: "You are a boy like daddy, so you are a "he," and Malorie is a girl like mommy and we call her a "she."
Trent: "My name is Trent and I am a he!"

*A conversation on his toy phone...

Trent: "Hi people. How are you today? You feeling good? That's nice. Okay, bye bye."

*Getting ready for dinner...he was tired and whining...

Me: "Trent, come get in your chair so we can have dinner."
Trent: "But I don't like food."
