Tis The Season!

So, the new Toys R Us Christmas catalog came in the mail, and I showed it to Trent because it had Elmo on the front cover (he likes Elmo, what can I say?), and we continued to look through the catalog. We came to the page with all the musical instruments, etc... and the excitment grew! He loves rocking out with Ayden's guitar anytime we are in Albany, so when he saw the guitars in the catalog, he didn't want to put it down. Needless to say, he now points to the counter where I have left the catalog, and says, "guitar, guitar." So, I get the catalog down and open it to the "guitar page" and........

Pumpkin Pictures

Okay, I know... our last post was in August. I have been dropping the ball, but I'm going to use the "I'm Pregnant" excuse! Yes, for those who might not know, Baby Clarkson #2 is due in May! We are super excited, but I have been super tired and sick!! If I can take care of Trent and keep my house somewhat clean during the day, I feel like I've done enough!!

Here are some recent pictures of our latest visit to Albany. We took Ayden and Trent to the Pumpkin Patch at the Presbyterian Church. They were wearing their matching POLO shirts that Meme gave them last Christmas. Pretty adorable!!

Carlsbad Caverns

We went to the big city of Grandfalls, TX to visit with Dad. On Saturday, we made a day trip to Carlsbad Caverns. We had a great time!

The backpack/harness was a "good thing!"

Thanks for the cool hat, Sis!!

Muscle Man!

Just ask him to show you his muscles! What a cutie!!

A Day at the "Beach"

Aunt Jen and the Frazier cousins invited us to their community "beach" pool. Trent wasn't so sure about the sand, but adjusted soon, and had a blast. Thanks for a fun day!

Dylan, Zach, Trent and Brandon!

Trent and the Trampoline!

First Haircut!

Trent's hair was getting a little "shaggy," so we decided to take him for his first haircut. I was a little nervous, not sure if I was completely ready, but I have to say, he still looks adorable! Jeff and I took Trent to a CoolCuts for Kids, and he sat in a little car, and watched Elmo, while his long locks were trimmed. He did such a good job. He cried some, but overall he was so good and patient! We filmed the memorable occasion, but I only got one picture, since my camera battery died while we were there. Bad timing, I know! But, I took some pictures later that day. Trent is now a clean-cut little man...Dad is really happy!

Trent's Favorite Pastime

Playing Outside! All we have to say is, "Trent, do you want to go outside?", and he runs for the door! I think he could be out there all day! He loves playing in the water, finding sticks and rocks, playing in the dirt, and just running around. We usually have to bribe him to get him to come back in, or a small fit is thrown. Food usually works!

1st Trip To The Pool

We went to the pool for the first time last Friday. It wasn't a great experience, since the water was still a little cold. Trent cried when we sat down in the baby pool! Poor guy. He finally got used to the water some, but he was still pretty upset, and didn't really enjoy it too much. Maybe next time...

Trent's Crayola Art Work

Trent had fun using crayons for the first time. He created some spectacular art! Of course, he tried to eat the crayons a few times, and everytime I got a new crayon out and started using it, he took it away from me so he could use it!

Trent's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Trent's 1st Birthday on Saturday, April 11th. He had an Easter Birthday, since Easter was that Sunday. We made a Bunny cake, and Trent had his own Easter Egg cake. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed it! We had many friends and family come and celebrate with us. It was a great day!
