First Day of School!

Trent started a MDO program at the Baptist Church in Wylie. He goes on Tuesdays, from 9-2. So far, he is having a great time. He was very excited about his new backpack! Lightning McQueen, of course!! (I never thought I would let my children wear cartoon clothes, accessories....but I guess you can't help but give them what they want!!!)

Mommy: No, you are. Malorie is a girl. She is my best girl.

Trent: No, Malorie is a boy like me.

Mommy: No. Malorie is a girl. Do you want to be a girl like Malorie?

Trent: I don't plan on it.

Mommy: (laughing)

Trent: Don't do funny!

Frame the Monkey!

My parents thought it was funny when they taught me how to "frame the monkey," and just recently Malorie started striking this little pose during dinner. So, I had to carry on the tradition. She will now do it on command!

Of course big brother had to show us that he could do it, too. What fun you can have at dinner!!
